We are teachers in the Surrey School District. We both have been teaching at a K/1 level for the last few years but worked with a Grade 4,5,6 teacher to develop these lesson plans. We are interested in teaching about the importance of cedar trees and how it links to Aboriginal culture and the new science curriculum. We both have a background in science and working with students with special needs.
